What should I wear?
For headshots, the classic advice is to avoid “loud” choices, such as logos, or distracting prints that may detract from your lovely face. People want to see you, not your clothes! That said, if you want to make a bold choice, go for it – these photos are about showing off who you are. Bright colours, dressed up, dressed down, mixed and matched, layers. You’ve got a few looks to play with, so bring a bunch and have some fun!
Same goes for portraits. Consider the message you want to send. If these photos are meant to capture the real you in this moment of your life, wear whatever you feel good in. Take some of the above headshot advice, or don’t – whatever makes you happy, because happy people look good in photos.

What about hair and makeup?
For all sessions, professional hair and makeup is available for $100/person if requested at time of booking. If you choose this service, please arrive with clean, product-free face and hair. If you are doing your own hair and makeup, please arrive looking fabulous and ready to shoot. Don’t worry about messing up your look en route – we will always take time for a post-transit touch up.
